This is exactly how evolution works though. The genetic makeup of an individual organism doesn't change according to its environment. Only the offspring can have different genetic makeup which can be for better or for worse - this is w

All this "smart" learning software feels really gimmicky to me. Anyone remember Windows Vista had this heavily marketed feature that would "learn" how you use your apps at certain time of the day, and therefore allow you

A ton of designers or developers are doing work with graphics or compiling on the go - both very CPU bottlenecked operations, and the Xeon is targeting this audience. Me personally I do a lot of Android development, and waiting 20 seconds t

The last few OS X versions have been notorious for the amount of bugs they introduced (both general software and driver issues) Coming from a company that only sells on a narrow range of hardware, these is even more unacceptable.

I have only recently realized the effect a well designed project website can have on the users impression of your project. I'm sure the code/design quality of jshon is great, but the website design/layout doesn't reflect

They lost me at "satellites receive signals from your phone". An entire article on GPS and they can't even get the basic premise of how it works correctly.

You can simply encrypt the phone yourself (there's a simple button in the settings menu).

Can someone explain the benefit of this over using a list in redis and using a blocking pop. Only thing I can think of is that it uses HTTP so you may be able to get around some port restrictions in your infrastructure, but that is probably

Does anyone have a simple example of how this would work? I can't wrap my head around code evolving during runtime for any arbitrary binary change.

Perhaps you haven't used Linux in a while? It runs on almost any hardware I can throw at it. Just upgraded to a brand new laptop, and just swapped in my old SSD, and everything just worked.
