I wonder if the 4ft gap could be eliminated by reducing the TX power on the AP. Most data must be AP->phone direction.

This seems to bode badly for CDNs versus own tuned servers, unless there's a way for origin websites to provide hints on response ordering?

WiFi chips are a fair bit cheaper, and don't need to integrate with the mains voltage side.

Nice, I'd wondered how hard that would be. Could you share details?

https://github.com/google/boringssl/commit/e25775bcacb120f7f... seems to be the code, as agl described.

I'm not so sure - AppleScript being able to click a SecurityAgent dialog box seems like a bug.

"nobody thought to write long ago" Quite a few moreutils involve unbounded buffering of input, I wonder if they were left out of Unix originally due to memory limits.

Nice idea. Digitalocean's Singapore routing seems a bit terrible. From Perth I get 50ms to a hop in Singapore (aarnet), but the endpoint is >100ms!

You can't buy a GC instance in Singapore though? Not quite a fair comparison in that case!

To manufacture circles you'd probably be making squares then cutting off ~1/4 of the area and throwing it away.

I guess I mean the username. It was previously my@email.com but now it's an ugly user.gtalkfix@gmail.com in all the Google UI. Oh well, I avoid logging in anyway :)

If you also have an associated Gmail account it won't let you use another email address as the primary one. That said I'm in some apple limbo land where I need to switch to an email address for iCloud but it won't let me use

I wonder if people whose email addresses start with the letter 'a' also get more spam.

What's the amount carried over each month (and interest paid)? That seems the more interesting figure.

Yeah, it is an OS level thing on OSX. "Quit Chrome" mapped to cmd-shift-control-something-Q instead, for example. As long as it has a menu item to match on.

It seems the author didn't look far if they just said "PyQt, licensing too hard" (fair enough) without noticing PySide.

They could say what the exposure is. If it's just "your private repos are exposed" then it wouldn't be urgent to patch a public server, for example.

kahwooi possibly meant South East Asia? Latency to GCE (Taiwan) from Australia is a fair bit worse than to AWS (Sydney/Singapore) for example.

Does this give access to the Red Hat support website? Some of the notes on bugs/workarounds there are useful, but subscriber only.
