In my experience the PRU code is fairly straightforward and fun to write, but wrangling Linux drivers/remoteproc/TI SDKs/devicetree etc is a bit of a hassle. https://github.com/mkj/pru-mic/blob/

Why aren't HFT firms using short wave radio (DXing)? I suppose low-orbit satellite-to-satellite would probably beat fibre for anything over ~4000km too.

The problem with radial graphs is that files get visually larger if you move them to a directory deeper. They're fine for a single layer, but not hierarchical.

Having RAM chips being able to do bzero() internally would give a general speedup in a pretty wide range of applications. Might help security with cheap zero-on-free too.

Back in 2005 it was standard for SSH servers to check /etc/shells. Maybe the RIT admins had put /bin/false in /etc/shells for some reason.

Ah released in 2015, cool. I'd assumed Intel kept their compilers as a competitive advantage even if they weren't profitable by themselves. Could certainly see it happening though.
