But those annotations are for the function definition instead of the call site, or are there call site annotations as well? I think the author's idea is analogous to the user-defined (instead of type-defined) move/copy semantics.

I did. I'll definitely have to check it out again, though, because it looks like pcwalton already fixed it! [1] [1]: https://twitter.com/pcwalton/status/595287602153926656

Just some very unscientific tests: loaded a few sites on both Servo and Chrome and compared the effects of resizing their windows. For instance, the frame rate looked about the same on Wikipedia, but Servo struggled on Reddit. Is Servo runn

It's slower than Chrome on my 2011 Macbook Air. Which is disappointing, considering it doesn't yet implement the same features.

I like the new structure much better! Now, I'm in no way a writer. English isn't even my main language.. So take this next point accordingly: Unfortunately, I get an even more condescending vibe from this draft than I got from the

I've always enjoyed informal guides, but oddly enough I share your frustration. Heck, I loved "Learn You a Haskell," yet this one reads very patronizing for some reason, and I can't figure out why.

But the landing page doesn't say much as well. The first section is "Why?," and the only "what" is "Ampersand.js is a well-defined approach to combining (get it?) a series of intentionally tiny modules." I

I'd bet on UI and marketing. The player is very unobtrusive and minimalist, and simple things like pronounceable random names probably appeal to the user. Also, features that are well-known to heavy reddit users (such as easily resizea
