Looking forward to the PBS Spacetime coverage of these experiments in about 2 weeks time, I'm sure they'll do an excellent job explaining them.

I have ADHD and I've anecdotally found that other ADHD people tend to be far more receptive to it, because it's how they often work too. Apparently it's a common symptom?

Certainly agree on there being "good" and "bad" interruptors. Being a jerk with the way you interrupt is never a good idea, and unfortunately the reputation of interruption in general as mode of communication has been su

As a habitual interrupter, this is one of my big fears when talking to non-interrupters. For me, frequent brief interruptions is how I follow along with what the other person is saying—otherwise it's almost certain I'll lose track

I have a strong habit of "autocompleting" people's thoughts in my head before they're done saying them. I'm only right maybe ~60% of the time, but it comes with a strong urge to interrupt them and let them know wher

2010 was truly a phenomenal year to be a film soundtrack enjoyer. It's hard to believe that we got Ross and Reznor on Social Network, John Powell on How To Train Your Dragon, Zimmer on Inception, and Daft Punk on Tron: Legacy. All 4

Agreed. Procreate is a masterclass in iPad app design. Everything runs so smoothly, the features are deep but the interface is still beginner-friendly, it's a joy to draw in with the Apple Pencil, and it has really good options availab

Fun fact, Trent and Atticus are still scoring films, most recently Pixar's Soul! It's a great soundtrack[0] that has a number of jazz tracks contributed by Jon Batiste as well as Reznor and Ross's synth pieces. Fair warning,

AGI specifically refers to general AI with human-level intelligence or above. It's a far cry from modern AI, but I'm personally quite optimistic it'll be achieved within my lifetime :)
