The approach in this case was: I was in the middle of buying a house and had a hundred other details to attend to. Investigating Brenda's brokering wasn't in the top fifty. I knew at the time that I could shop around for insuran

Agreed. The first words are: > I doubt this story will be of interest to anyone but me If you read past that, you have nobody to blame but yourself.

I offered the Open Steno folks a subdomain of plover.com, so they could set up a redirect or something, but Mirabai said they didn't need it.

The destructiveness of "close tab" is not equivalent. Control-shift-T will instantly undo the close-tab action. And there is a menu item that lists "recently closed tabs". Try finding the menu item that brings back the

I posted this because around 2003 I spent a significant amount of time tracking it down. So I saved it, so that I wouldn't lose it, and so if I ever got around to writing an article about the message, I would have it handy and easy

A while back I looked at a problem where Monte Carlo simulation said that the answer was probably 4. But analysis showed that the actual answer was 9304682830147 ÷ 2329089562800 = 3.994987…. https://blog.plover.com/math/
