Lol, Python has had incredible improvements over the last decade plus, while uv fixed packaging. It's the best/comprehensive glue language ever made, even with a few remaining warts.

Indeed, I speak from experience. Generalists like myself are unfavored as well, it seems.

That may have worked at the time, but no companies are interested in learning projects today. If you didn’t do the reqs list for the last 5-10 years with the same title, forget about it. Because there are dozens of folks who have, lined u

Was the norm in the 70s, and into the early 80s. My memory is that the turning point to quick cuts was after MTV and music videos became popular (1982+). I remember old folks complaining about the “attention span” of young people. Watchin

Interesting. A few weeks ago we were running out of food and ended up with a can of tuna with olive oil over spaghetti and sauce. Despite my initial misgivings it was surprisingly good.

Or likely workers on the ground know exactly what’s wrong—management is poor, uncommunicative, or perhaps filled with unqualified nepo hires. This isn’t able to be stated out loud by folks whose jobs would be at risk. So MCs can come in,

Why should a malicious third party have our financial records? Why would a third party know filing reqs better than the IRS? They already know the data anyway. Other countries have done this for decades already, cheaply.

Oh, shell does interpolated strings with double quotes “age: {age}”, with $ but it is redundant. Single quotes are simple strings: ‘Hello world!’

Neat, looks more like Rust than Java or Python on the surface though. That’s good in general. Also am slightly dismayed that new langs are copying the f-string, which was chosen only because Python had no more Ascii punctuation chars left

It’s best for SPAs. A pile of docs and comments does not require nor gain much from it. i.e. a poor tradeoff, at first glance anyway.
