search for "<topic x> tutorial" read the right hand side section on each reddit group dedicated to begginers. read some manuals/books... what you said only fails for novel topics like quantum computing.

Back in the day it also used to be a problem and answer used to be 'get better' or 'rtfm' and general laughter. That I used to find mean, now I see it as necessary but nobody does it anymore (lack of anonimity I guess) I

Try and follow /new on raspberry_pi or similar... You'll see reason for the hate, mainly with people not bothering to spend any time searching before posting. And it is getting worse, new people asking help: 'but chatgpt told

the medium article you linked tells you to format your hard drive, so it's obviously not how to set up an encrypted file that can be mounted. > Yes, thankfully. The man page for cryptsetup isn't exactly palatable. The man page

Allright, had this recently since i keep forgetting luks commands. How do you set up an encrypted file on linux that can be mounted and accessed same as a hard drive. (note: luks, a few commands) You will see a nonsensical ai summarization,

Why do you need yo write that much? Is it all just throw away code to test out ideas? Would libraries to help abstract stuff and you writing a few lines at a higher lever be better? Since you throw away most of the code, could you design a

I am in the same boat. I don't need AI to generate code. Pipelines are non existant (who wants useless code?, just make better abstractions) Copy-and-paste code is non existant - taboo to duplicate, just find libraries to reuse within
