Make no mistake - this is indeed quite deep. To be able to assimilate it well you will need at least knowledge of Analysis, Measure Theory, and good mathematical maturity. I was able to read only part 1: Foundations, and these are my impr

No. Take any circle that passes through the loweset point (under the 3" mark) and the right angle vertex that is down and left of the blue line. Keep anything else fixed. This way infinitely many such constructions were created, and the rad

Is there a good test for being introvert or extrovert? I have always imagined that an extrovert just has a better ability and finds it easier to express his/her emotions. However, the Wikipedia definition sounds more like a description of e

To increase the reliablity of a system, improve the weak links in a system, not the strong. In a computer systems class we had a lecture about security and cryptographics. There were many case studies of fraud, and almost none of them were

Agreed. But not only women are repelled by the geeky atmosphere in the computer science. Many extrovert male people get bored and disgusted too. So it is not really even 50% of the people diversity who create the software. It feels more lik

yes, we cannot prove that we are in a Matrix either. And... everybody has the right to believe whatever he/she likes as long as the induced behavior is not harmful to others.

All such attempts for summation are ill-defined. The Abel summation is actually not a property - it is a functional . That said you take the function f(n)=<n-th summand>. Then you can define AS(f), but it shares very few properties

Hm... anybody can think of a reason why the adding cross country connections seems correlated for various pairs of countries. For example the local max on Sep 19, or the local min at Aug 21 seem to hold for most pairs of countries.
