I'd make a realistic list of hours worked, both take your hours * hourly rate out of the total, pay the outsourcing fees and divide the rest 50/50.

I don't see any good reasons to switch either. Ruby might be an objectively better language, but the cost of switching is high if oyu know PHP through and through and use a MVC coding style.

Nothing new, it's just a pyramid setup, a few big hits raking in tons, and a whole lot of apps that are downloaded twice or make 2 dollars a month with advertising.
