It would have been nice for the author to get into or link to a description of the convex hull algorithm since that was the speed up magic. Since they didn't: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convex_hull_algorithms

At those temps I believe many metals will also end up being heat treated. And it sounds like the time will be dependent on how much hydrogel is present, so there will be at least a lower bound on what heat treatment you need apply. I wonder

It's always about incentive misalignment. As an employee thinking Company first will improve the bottom line for the company. As an executive thinking company first may well eliminate me as an employee. Why should an employee put the c

Saying many of our bits at the macro level can't repair themselves is a recognition of our biology and that state of medical science. It doesn't take away from the fact that life is amazing Yes, under a strict definition those are

Most of our organs don't/can't self repair, so it is very surprising. Excepting skin which you may want to qualify as an organ, only the liver can regenerate. All of our other organs "repair" via scarring which may

Unlikely, as those flights would be scheduled and the launch site publicized. It wouldn't absolutely preclude a masked nuclear strike, but that would be possible already with space launches.

Looks like they also have countdowns to add 4 more units to the interface - check out the lock tabs on top or the Countdown link in the hamburger menu. Looks to be they will have new interfaces in about 1, 3, 4, and 6 months. Guesses as to

Yes, but of course your experience may vary. If you have been at the same job/company for 5+ years and not actively keeping abreast of the market it can be pretty easy to stagnate without realizing. I've interviewed a number or ca

Wikipedia has a page on the Timeline of the far future[1]. It lists a ton of physical and cosmological things that are predicted to happen based on our current understanding of physics. A really fun read that always takes me down a rabbit&#

Sure. I'm not arguing using a debugger if that is what you prefer. I'm saying that to have no clue where in your code base an issue is cropping up, like _0_ idea, says to me one should spend some time understanding the code before

Changing code that you don't understand because you "found" the bug with a step through debugger is a recipe for disaster. In those situations (high turnover/fast moving tech debt accumulation) perhaps no one cares that

If you have _no idea_ where a bug could come from in your code You should spend the time understanding your codebase before you even begin debugging. At the very least you need to be able to reproduce your bug to reliably fix it. How can yo
