I love the concept; who wouldn't really. You wonder what the actual consequences will be though when it's a broad market policy decision. For example can you count that as income for a mortgage; if so then house prices will rise a

In my mobile device it's just irritating how much padding he has. It's basically 3 words at a time. I'd need a phablet to get through this piece even though it's enjoyable righting.

Simple but big issue I have is getting solutions that suit the platform. Often when I'm looking for help on something it gives me the on-prem solution. Docs on your website are confusing for this reason and that's why I stopped us

I agree with that. Cops that get into their career because they believe in Justice will follow the letters of the law. Only as they gain experience to they see the big picture and become the best kind of cop. Someone that uses good judgemen

I got your point Tom and I agree with you 100% that owning your address is just the first big step.

I'm like you a self taught for the most part and I find algos boring to learn alone as well. They aren exactly head turners, but still in a group would be nice. Also I was thinking the same thing about the UI. I hope there is an answer

Nothing can be done. It's a wildly asymmetrical relationship that means 9 billion people get a try to knock you out and your team of what??? 25, 50, 100, 1000? Security specialists have to see everything possible and plan for any and a

It's why I'm on digital ocean. Cheap, but good quality service that's comparable to the big boys and it's capped. $5/month is perfect for me

Probably drivers from the local transit union. I've seen/read about (union) activists doing some crazy things and it wouldn't surprise me that someone or some people would try to show with their life that this is a bad idea a

I don't believe you read the article, because if you had I believe you would have noticed that they nearly all but dismissed this as climate change related. Scientists did that not, HN commentors. You are shifting the purpose of the a

Why do you say that? Remote is remote, is I'm hiring remote, why would I care if the person is in Spain, Portugal or anywhere else? I'm sure you have context behind your comment and it would be great if you shared it.

I'm willing to bet GH is being mirrored internally as you suggest otherwise you'd be exposing the only current digital copy to hackers. That just seems a reasonable expectation to me. So the activity is likely happening on the lar

In Germany I think it's different. If you cross when you aren't allowed the car has the right of way. I have actually no idea why this isn't the case in Canada. Seems pretty reasonable; light shows 'walk' symbol and

The best part about this moment right now is if TSLA immediately starts looking into restructuring their debt while interest rates haven't taken off and while everyone is excited again about TSLA's future. Seems to me this would b

This article was clearly written by someone who hasn't taken their head out of the sand for at least 1, maybe 2 years. Maybe I'm wrong, but a great deal of what he/she says doesn't seem to chime as current. Like the issu

This is a huge lawsuit. Apple clearly states in the press and in advertising that the app store is the only way to get apps that are assured to be safe. I can't imagine it'll take long before there are many and massive class actio
