The article is spot on, however, who is claiming a 10x speed up from AI? I have heard many crazy claims so far but nothing that bad. In addition to the article, I'd like to add that most DEV jobs I have been in had me coding only 50% o

The author is overlooking the need for enterprise server software that needs to be safe, stable, extendable to large systems and easily maintainable above anything else. None of his three languages fits that bill. Python is not (type) safe

My experience with Python and Scala so far is different. With Python the LLM's do a pretty good job. The code always compiles, sometimes there are some logical or architectural errors but that's it. With Scala, I have to give the

There's an offer from Hamas on the table for a total ceasefire and release of all hostages. The solution is to accept it. If at any point Hamas will break the agreement, Israel is free to attack again. Some people seem to believe that

I went the same route and am still working as a Scala dev. However Scala adoption seems to slowly go down, unfortunately .. Which is a shame because it's a beautiful language and I love using it as FP together with Cats. However Java h
