You know what I hate about google search possibly most of all? It doesn't list the actual URLs as hyperlinks. It lists part of them, and then has a google tracking URL as an actual link. Some times, I want to copy a URL without visi

When Japan built its Shinkansen, she had just been thoroughly beaten in a war, and we were reasonably confident she was no longer "bad". We have no such confidences with China; she has proven herself to be "bad" at many

I still think it's somewhat relevant. Companies of that size are generally supposed to be more stable, and aren't really supposed to slip that much. This is especially true in light of the fact that Uber already priced near the

I honestly figured every one knew this, but if you don't, do it. In-boxes get full, people get busy, spam filters get nasty, and it is always helpful to send a follow-up. Personally, I like to reply to my prior e-mail, then alter the

Retail is left with "the scraps" because it is much riskier to invest early on. Companies that fail early aren't heard about as much, because Joe Average's pension plan hasn't invested in them, but are still plenti

I hope not too much longer, but I think the proximity to China and Russia will prevent decent, republican government from winning out. America had her chance to put North Korea back down for years, any time before the acquisition of nukes.

I'm rather curious about this as well. Maybe he is saying that it is not as user-friendly because it is command-line-based? I have had no issues with it, and it seems it would be simple to make a graphical front-end.

Good question. If I harm no other, and if I am not deceived as to known side effects, why ought I not to be able to do so?

I've seen volume buttons used to turn pages; maybe something like that? Apple's force touch might also have potential. It doesn't have to all be tap-tap-tap.

Maybe the EU ought to take a lesson from the fate of America, and remain a voluntary confederation of states. For reasons outlined in my above post, it may be better that way.

I assume this is sarcastic? I wasn't saying any thing about the EU. It's quite different from America, if for no other reason than because citizens of EU nations see themselves first and foremost as citizens of said nation, not t

It used to be that we recognized the fact that the feds had a very limited constitutional scope. That has been obliterated in the 20th century, with everything being justified under the necessary and proper clause and the commerce clause.
