you are a tool. that's the reality. we all like to believe that we are somehow better than this and that there is meaning in the work we do, but at the end of the day if you were to disappear tomorrow things will go on without you. you

it's 30 min additional time. when you have a small kid someone is always oncall. This phrase does not seem odd at all to me (and is a very good way of separating people that have a kid from people that don't have a kid)

hahaha. nope. why would they do that when the inventory is so limited? the only solution that I think could work is rezoning + building more. That’s the only thing that could dampen this mad market.

it’s cute how people predict the housing market going down / crashing every time something happens. I don’t think a crash will happen (maybe it’s going down, maybe not, but definitely not a crash) and I believe we are moving in a direc

all clouds have services dedicated to orchestrating resources (cloudformation in aws land, deloyment manager in gcp, etc etc). K8s is not better suited for this purpose.

there. you captured it beautifully. “It’s sooo easy to play with K8s”. If I can get away with a serverless service why bother with k8s? If I can run my service inside a VM and front the service with a LB, why bother?
