It definitely took a lot of attention at my local game shop away from traditional table top role playing.

Depends on the institution and their relationship to the borrower. For instance, if you are a servicer who bought the MSRs to a loan portfolio and a large cut of those borrowers pay off early, you may not make back your investment on the MS

Need to add font enhancement features. Can I pay 2 cents per letter to have the letters animated in fire?

And we are lucky that with software we have the flexibility to rebuild without many of the costs other disciplines face. If I want to rebuild a skyscraper in its same location for the same purpose, I can't build it offsite and then qui

Motivations are certainly different now. I do wonder if kids today still have that "wild west" feel when messing with computers. I remember when I was young, writing programs and making computers do simple things seemed really imp

I agree. Fox is a factory that happens to make movies. A corollary here would be to say that "fashion as an art form is truly dead" because Wal-Mart sells mass produced graphic tees for children.

Or, in many cases, people have done the mental calculus between free, powerful, entertaining services and their privacy rights and have chosen the former.

This is why Everquest was so great for me. Leveling took a long time and you really got to explore the world. It would take teaming up with people just to make perilous journeys - this is something I don't think exists anymore in games

On the topic of old email addresses, make sure your old email provider doesn't release your email address after so many years / months. This is a common way to get access to accounts by creating a new email account with the same a

Linear algebra is probably my favorite part of math from a practicality standpoint. I'm not in a math heavy field, but knowing how to use matrices to solve optimization problems has been very helpful.

This reminds of me "Typing of the Dead". It's like the arcade shooter House of the Dead, but instead of a light gun, you use your keyboard and shoot zombies by typing words to kill them. Pretty fun way to work on typing speed

The address extraction piece would make an awesome API that you could charge for if it's effective. I imagine a lot of aggregators would pay for something like that.
