It's a serious comment. Sure doing it this way would give the government access to all your knowledge(not really a new state of things). But that won't stop commerce - as long as security from theft is guaranteed, which i think ca

With the current system, if you're using an exploit(especially for gain), you're a criminal. Not so when using pinata. Also , pinata exposes all hacks in public, unlike today.

It's possible to solve this technically ,such that the encryption will happen on government mandated servers, in a fully secure manner that doesn't hurt most businesses - and hat's probably how they'll handle that.

Self service security bounties seems like a very smart idea. Would self-service security bounties enable a distributed bounty ? where each site developer puts a relatively small bounty in his site and his bounty offers him a certain qualifi

I think something like mooc's(or maybe something like platzi - with it's high[~70%] completion rates) would fit well for prisons ,especially that some states have started to let their prisoners use tablets[1]. [1] http://

I checked again , and there's a subset of MyHDL which does support synthesis, but it's at such a low level it's not very different from VHDL/Verilog. The whole MyHDL is mostly used for verification though.

MYHDL isn't compile-able(synthesizable) to hardware. I know they teach Chisel, a higher level language , in berkley. Maybe it fits software engineers and would be fun to design cpu's with.
