Really glad you said this. At this point this is my natural gut reaction to this type of discourse.

Basically unplayable if you're used to CS at all, however this is a really cool and impressive project :)

I think they are referring to the uptick seen after May 29 here: https://imgur.com/a/Z9y7cek

Absolutely agreed. Reich is featured quite a bit in mixes on musicforprogramming.net[1], which is a frequent go-to of mine. Definitely recommend it! [1] http://musicforprogramming.net/

Two of my closest friends (who are much better musicians than me) and I get together occasionally to jam. It's become a running inside joke at this point that invariably someone will end the jam with a Picardy third. It's so sac

As others have stated there are much better guides than this. I did this recently for fun, including the bootloader (I considered GRUB cheating!) The best tutorial IMO was https://samypesse.gitbook.io/how-to-create-an-operat

This is somewhat of an aside, but it's been interesting watching the constant debate about the direction of causality between financial and emotional stability in a family. I think when I was younger I tended to see financial success a

This is a really awesome framework. Working on a generative chord progression project right now using it (Also my first foray into typescript -- looks like the type definitions for Tone.js are a bit out of date).

Such a well curated list. I listen to it all the time at work. I was already intimately familiar with many of the artists featured (Aphex twin, oneohtrix point never, tim hecker) but have definitely discovered some new ones through it too.

Oh wow, I remember watching that, it's crazy to revisit that talk after so many years. Redux and Flow are somehow branded as alternatives to MVC, when they are precisely MVC (store=model, dispatcher/reducer=controller, etc). It

It sounds interesting, but I'm not quite sure how to feel about the conclusion that the effects here may be short-term. Anxiety and depression are generally big picture/long term issues for people rather than acute instances.

Deleted in 2008. I was quite addicted to it which was my main motivation for deleting it, though I'm glad to not be on the platform for different reasons now.

One I enjoyed was a discussion on a gaming podcast about whether fireballs in street fighter were a form of magic or not, eventually leading to the question "is Guile a wizard?"

Yeah, different strains is the most common explanation i've heard. But in my own self experimentation I notice relatively little difference between Sativa and Indica.

I'll never stop being fascinated by how radically different the experiences of cannabis users are. The idea of weed reducing anxiety and making you feel "fine doing nothing" are the polar opposites of how it makes me feel. O
