Exactly and that's why we are paying this huge hidden tax for the top 1% to accumulate it.

I used to believe on something like you describe but now I have a different view, I tried to find some videos that explain it, there is several but to start with look at this one http://www.neweconomics.org/publications/

Interesting enough today I was thinking if we have an AST of a program we could have tools that apply semantic analysis like ownership in rust and achieve the same benefits of it in any language. Does someone know any already existing tool

I added also test with h2load, but with this tool h2o/ngix performs basically equal. nginx-default: 1067 rps h2o-strong-384: 1009 rps

I've looked at h2o website and seems that someone asked this question and there is an example of a stronger configuration. Using it I did a test on a raspberry pi 3 and here https://gist.github.com/mingodad/e5a46c8

With a small code base there is also h2o and it already has http2 and a very good https performance (can serve around twice as much than nginx). After looking for most of available http servers h2o is my preferred one right now. Also I have

I just cloned the repository build it and did some tests with asio_httpd (and found a possible memory leak/fragmentation), overall it's well designed and coded. To build it I went to the xmake repository and through it also found

Nice idea but there is a mix of https/http requests and the browser blocks http so the demo/try page do not work.

I just bought 2 nodemcu 0.9 boards and tested then with http://www.nodemcu.com/index_en.html and https://github.com/esp8266/Arduino and both of then have problems when tested with the board as webserve

For me is hard to understand how a language with a behavior/constraints like you describe get so much noise about "been easy to use/learn". I do not like it but at least be DRY as much as possible: case 0: set.__fds_bits

I think that you are right on this, when looking at one of the examples (server.swift) it seems that people are paid by characters typed and they forget (or never heard of) the mantra DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself): func fdSet(fd: Int32,

I looked at this library in the past and I could not find any usage of it in any open source project. That made me a bit scary, how a library like this with the supposed well thought construction is not used anywhere ?
