Agreed. In 99% of cases, the hard part of developing a software system is not the actual coding.

Lift a weight so heavy you can lift it only once, you’re building strength (and, oddly, not much mass); lift a weight you can move six to 12 times, you’re building mass (and, oddly, a little less pure strength); It's interesting how many

As can I. I think I have some natural aversion to having a boss.

No kidding. The buildings are getting nicer but there is almost no green space left on campus.

This also isn't quite true. Evolution cares about nothing. Evolution just happens.

Well, actually: "For instance, there are two different un- prefixes in English: one meaning 'not, opposite of', the other meaning 'reverse action, deprive of, release from'. The first prefix un- 'not' is attached to adjective and participle

The same thing is happening to me. I'm on Chrome v21 in Archlinux. I'm getting the following errors: "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (NOT FOUND) http://jetstrap.com/api/v1/project/last "not dropping, no

The only way the CO2 can leave is through the lungs. If your airways are blocked, you're going to be facing some major blood pH issues with all that built up CO2. This can happen really fast too. Simply hypo-ventilating can cause the pH of

So? People can work on whatever ideas they please. The conversation ends there. Unless you're going to start forcing people to work on idea's that you deem will "better society" your comment is completely irrelevant.

I'm also having problems, but in Chrome on Arch. It hangs for a while telling me my git repository is being cloned, eventually telling me that [repository name] workspace already exists. Upon choosing a new name and continuing, it just keep

Yup, my point was that the glucose may be moved into the CSF in order to favor the movement of water in that direction.

Actually, I'm not sure it is. Not for an energy related reason anyway. I'd wager the main reason the the glucose is present is due to osmolarity when the CSF is being created from the blood. Also realize that the CSF has a high turnover rat

Here ( http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=1000-genome ) is a recent article in Scientific American regarding sequencing a genome for <= $1000. It's pretty cool how it works. Most current genome sequencers tell bases apart

I've been wondering this as well, except my degree is in medical science. I'm graduating in 4 months, but I like programming too much to continue working in a lab. I've been programming since I was 14, but I only feel like I've recently bec

This reminds me of a quote: "Democrats want the government to be their mother; republicans want the government to be their father. Libertarians just want to be treated like adults."

I'm not sure why you're being downvoted. Evolution is simply the changing of allele frequencies over time, which can certainly happen in the absence of mutation. Although, I don't know that I would say "plenty" of evolution can happen witho
