I agree. A freemium model works well for something like this. Pick the most important feature for someone who is making money using your info and charge only for that feature.

Indeed. Juul hasn't made any health claims so the clickbait title that they are copying big tobacco's playbook (when they are big tobacco now) is kind of silly. It was also odd to read Juul's statements that they are an "

That scenario falls apart when the global poor don't have any money to buy FB coins, which they don't. Agreements with banks won't give the unbanked the free cash flow to play around with digital money or buy a bunch of stuff

Facebook's PR acts like people who didn't have money available will now suddenly have it on their phones, but the Libra technical docs say one can only obtain Libra by buying it with fiat (or by buying their separate investment to

The suggestion that this is a way to help the "global unbanned" is also disingenuous. If people don't have enough money to put any in a bank, making up a new centralized currency isn't going to change that.

Most non-native English speakers around the world will be taught British rather than American English, so this 'accent' would be what you could expect from them in real life if they were to speak English.

No one so far has mentioned that actual Russians who learned English would be learning British English and not American so that 'accent' for them seems totally on point. Making people read subtitles would only serve to eliminate

This is a big step toward the full merger of Windows and Linux on the desktop, which is the most logical way forward for both platforms. Kudos to Docker for taking a primary role and following Microsoft in this direction.

I don't think so. It's more the result of enterprise users needing full access to source code so that it can be audited for security issues and modified to meet their needs. This is where computing began, before piracy was a conce

This is, frighteningly, entirely on point. All cryptos other than Bitcoin were dead from the starting gate. This is FB disrupting crypto (with something that isn't crypto) and taking fintech away from banks and PayPal in one fell swoop
