I've been using SkyDrive for a while now, and it generally feels more usable to me. Is there a reason people prefer LibreOffice over that? I haven't used it as much, but it feels like I can't be sure what the document will look like back in

On my machine: real 0m0.075s user 0m0.047s sys 0m0.024s This seems to be a common concern, but I've never noticed a delay in practice.

There was some interest in getting this to work with ZSH when I first posted it. I just pushed a small change that makes it work for ZSH, and thought people might want to know.

Maybe instead of blocking, put this caller on a "hellban" list, where the calls go through but are redirected to robolisteners. Perhaps patch two robocallers with each other.

Oh, sorry about that. I just meant that it has only a $ sign which makes it small.

I didn't do anything- maybe it's smaller in Monaco?

Yup, just remove/comment out any portions (Powerline calls it segments) you don't like.

That's the CtrlP vim plugin, which runs a fuzzy search. In the screenshot I'm in the middle of a search so the matched part is partially highlighted.

I'd like to know too. Just saw it in a dotfile.

Hmm, that wouldn't let me keep the colors etc. I'm on iTerm btw, perhaps you mean the title in a screen/tmux session?

I used the ANSI control codes for moving the cursor, which seems to overwrite previous lines. Not sure if there's another way to achieve that without overwriting lines though.

Yeah, I also have one that fixes the prompt to the top so you only see a small '$' at the current line, but it messes up the terminal history.

Note: showing colors in terminals is done through ANSI codes which have varying levels of compatibility with different terminals. For me, this works on an iTerm terminal, with $TERM set to xterm-256color.

I absolutely agree that it needs a rethinking in terms of UI. Now that they are trying to consolidate google products, maps should be more aggressive in identifying useful destinations. I'm guessing they want to err on the side of not creep
