Most mistakes remain mistakes, and do not become part of the language. The idea that mistakes generally get accepted as correct is simply untrue, which is what you are implying. I am sure people will make the mistake, as they sometimes do t

It will likely end up like many other more phonetic spellings: an indicator of ignorance, but more acceptable in America than elsewhere.

>Turns out, in this case, the “new machine” is Tony. And Tony’s kind of a racist. He’s tanking morale, making people feel unsafe. But management keeps him around because “he works hard.” You're talking about management. Not the law.

Absolute liability is unquestionably completely wrong. It is punishing someone despite his not having had any kind of guilty state of mind. It creates criminal liability for something that is completely beyond the defendant's control.

This is nonsense. Drinking in moderation is beneficial or at worst harmless. Every two years the "science" changes. Anyone that pays too much attention to what it says is a fool.

How is traditional news "inescapable"? You can just not go to the websites and not watch it on TV. It is very easy not to consume breathless mainstream media rubbish.

If she tried to reduce it she wouldn't do it. Nobody is holding a gun to her head. She does it because she wants to do it. Until she takes responsibility for her actions she will not change.

The result of a purely chronological feed is that you have to scroll through 10 posts from the same person and never see anything from people that post good content rarely. Plenty of people like and enjoy "algorithmic feeds". I ca

Who working at Tesla can speak with the force of a punch? Nobody. Words cannot "punch" in any direction. Don't abuse language to try to conflate words with violence. Violence is physical. Words are harmless.

They don't hate it. They dislike being bad at it, they dislike working hard at things, and they like video games and scrolling on their phones. And yes practicing will result in them getting better.

People definitely watch YouTube videos while playing video games and play games on their phones while watching TV/movies. Narrative video games are a tiny and obscure niche.

I agree that supply is constrained and rents are higher than they should be. The solution is to free up the supply of land and allow people to build, to bring down prices for everyone. The same people would do the cleaning and serve coffee
