I had not yet picked up the habit of reading the manual. https://man.openbsd.org/boot.8#EXAMPLES Being able to reach the boot menu is critical when installing to a range of embedded devices such as routers. I use a null mod

I am a newer OpenBSD user, so I encounter roadblocks/papercuts quite frequently. What I like about the OS is that the problems are all easy in retrospect. I never struggle with the same issue twice. For instance, the first time I boote

Nuclear plants were originally designed small, as for submarines. For some reason the design trend has been towards larger plants. Perhaps for economies of scale? An interesting watch is Adam Curtis' documentary "A is for Atom&quo

It sounds as though they were creating gem-quality synthetic diamonds but kept it on the down-low, and used their Siberian mines as cover.

Pandora's Box is my favorite introduction to Adam Curtis. In short, the theme is "times that people thought they knew what they were doing, but actually didn't."

Yes, but I prefer MSYS2 these days. It's a lot like Cygwin, but uses pacman as a package manager instead of Cygwin's setup.exe.
