I think the solution to this is simple: Pay for every service you use. The question was historically then how do teenagers (or the developing world for that matter) pay for electronic services and cue Facebook and Google.

Not to be judgmental, and to support your argument, but two points: I don't think we know how smart he is and I don't think it's that important. Euler was to me a balanced person as opposed to a extreme person like Grothend

Is there any more context to OP's post? I guess someone just noticed in the mailing list, but it's not clear whether maybe John Carmark does this with all code everywhere in the universe. And then probably still has some interes

Stellenbosch University has Bosendorfers in the conservatory. They are great! I also almost had the opportunity to buy a Pleyel for cheap, but I think a dealer bought it straight away after it was posted. If I had that kind of money I would

I'm guessing the piano is in pretty bad shape? Generally, people don't realise that pianos that don't get restored have something of an expiry date. I know that if it's 80 years old and has never been restored, then it&#

Well, I guess this goes back to the question of whether architecture can solve social problems. Sometimes it works. But I am more a fan of humaneness solving social problems than technology. [1] My other issue with the technology-solves-all

Oh, that is false of course. If you want GPS data you need access to the phone's GPS, as you are pointing out. I think the original point about triangulation was just that even if you are as careful as possible , then people can still

As far as I know, this is not very secret, but not fully studied either. There are various kinds of flying insects other than bees that are key pollinators. In avocados I believe there is still quite a bit of research to do about A type and

If you are thinking about using L-Systems, I would say for your purposes the L-System should be nondeterministic. One way of doing that would be to introduce a slight and deliberate error into the substitution steps.

The top two are wrong. The concrete definitions are: Hacker: A programmer; someone who embodies the spirit of the programmer's way of thinking Cracker: A programmer that commits crimes by illegally breaking in to systems.

I am not sure what you are asking. In the OP article they plot each point so that you can see them explicitly. They then mention these are GPS points. Cell triangulation needs no client side data; it uses only signal strength and three or m

In South Africa, it works like this: - Farmer - Fresh Produce Market (for most around 8% agent fee + 8% market fee = 16%; for potatoes it is 5% + 8% for historical reasons) - Supermarket (40%–60% fee) So in our case the middle men are not t

I think you can do a rotation schedule for the tires using other techniques that are more concrete than group theory. If you think about the quadratic formula, the Babylonians used it without having a way to write down the equation. But, ha
