I think the 60–70% is a misquote. The original is in German, but I can't say what it means exactly. They are currently at 0.0000175%. I think it's more a warning that an "estimate".

Set theory already supposes that sets come before enumeration. I am not sure what the original Italian book is about then. Maybe it is rephrasing this with some added history.

Yes, that graph. Alright, makes sense. I guess a parabola is the primordial (at least, to high school teachers) example so I understand why that is what you picked. In terms of whether a parabola makes sense for the example, it's diffi

I think maybe I misunderstood the headline then. Is the expectation that your employees cost > $200k or is that not qualified? In some companies / countries you spend $10k per employee .

Yesterday there was yet another SaaS-like "solution" pushed to my employer. I was like... I can do all of that in crontab. The guy didn't know what crontab was. I then said: "Well I guess one uses whatever your team memb

To me the question has always been: Does infinity exist in nature? Infinitely small things (even infinitely small nothingness) is to me the relevant question as we may have it within our reach. Infinitely large things are more of a perpetua

I don't think the fact that KPMG ran it is necessarily the key thing here. I have a perennial objection to the "Silicon Valley Way" where you try to build a scalable product or service and immediately look for funding (and la
