Great analysis, but using pie charts with 4 shades of blue is unreadable.

I don't know why we are so sympathetic towards them - either they are just bad at security or understaffed and thus just can't maintain everything. Both options are about as probable.

I think this is a great idea, but this is another startup (like yelp, to name another) with a globally good idea only applied to select few US cities. I get that they want to take it slow and get traction, but with all their traction they n

I'd argue that playing 200 hours of a mmorpg is more valuable, helps grow more, and is generally way better than watching TV 200 hour.

Is there some kind of Taboo about spelling out the names of the beers? I live in Israel and it took me a while to guess Macabi, but maybe that's because I don't like lagers (stouts are the real beer anyway :)).

Yeah, I guess as a Guiness lover I forgot Mike's doesn't actually have a great selection.

I don't think they are doing it to support BitTorrent... It is just a service, not a replacement. I don't see why I'd prefer to use this , but I can see a situation where it can be easier to use than a bittorent client for novice users.

First of all - it's not James', it's Jem's Beer Factory, which is indeed very good. The stout there is awesome. Now a few more if I may - Mike's Place is nice Porter & Sons on Haarbaa street has a huge selection - http://www.rest.co.il

Apart from me being a bit shocked at how this seems like evil (and Google "Does no evil") this raised an interesting issue: Look at how rabid Google is about Data.

I'm a developer. My time spent with Jira is an annoyance at best, or a hatred at worst. I can't change that. It's a good tool for our QA and PMs. Something like this is nice to distract me. I don't think that gamification is equivalent to t

I'll try and get the team to agree to try it out after the weekend. I love the idea of gamification, if it's done right. What is really interesting is how to take gamification further. Achievements are cute as a first step, but I'm sure the

You know, as someone who lives in the most terror stricken country in the world (well, probably): Israel, I never had to take my shoes off, have a full body scan taken, no pat downs either. I'm gonna go on a wild guess and say that Ben Guri

First a bit of criticism - I don't like this way of presenting. 193 slides? Each with one sentence? This is borderline maddening and if this wasn't a topic I was interested in I wouldn't have made it even 30 slides in. A tl:dr would just te

That was what I was implying, yes. Do you really think it will be hard for most people to work together towards a goal they both share and want? I'm sure there will be conflict, but I doubt it'll be more than any other partnership.

This is fascinating. As a developer, I enjoy reading such logs and stories. I like the thought that if you make something good, popular or interesting, there will be someone that will admire your work, play with it and try to break it.

More than that, it is very easy for only one programmer or researcher doing a bad job to create technical debt that will take disproportional time to pay off.
