I am curious about his size, I never saw anyone who worked on subs. I felt they would be smaller on average in size due to cramped conditions. I play music with a guy who was a weapons officer on a nuclear sub. I’m 6’/1.8m, and he’s

Naps and rest “charge”, and yes, Garmin keeps track of that. Not that I put a whole lot of weight in those data personally.

Zero chance a iWatch would ever survive these conditions. Mine survives such things just fine. My Garmin Epix watch is practically bullet proof. And your Epix cost about twice as much as the Una watch does.

And it's always been terrible, as long as I've been using Garmin watches (their bike computers seem to charge fine, mainly because they use whatever the standard USB plug is at the time). I remember the 410 had some suckass plug t

Apple certainly doesn't let you. There are several apps[0] off the top of my head that pull data from Apple's HealthKit. Apple even has a framework for it: HealthKit. That said, I've never written to that API myself, but it

I really want to like this watch. Price is certainly right, and it does all of the things I'd want out of a Garmin or Apple Watch Ultra. But what problem does this solve for me? In the Apple Watch use case, a replaceable battery would

Not at all, "books" could also specify "long form writing". When I say I read a book, I don't specify "e-book", I just say, "finally finished Project Hail Mary ".

No income tax, but capital gains tax. And capital gains tax is a lot less than income tax (hence Buffet’s “my secretary pays more tax than I do”). So the “$1/year” CEOs are simply reducing tax burden. But, yes, under the proposed schem

The sociopath part is what allows one to do what it takes to get ultra rich in the first place. Other than Gates, not one comes to mind who gives anything to charity, for example (yes, I’m sure one or two exists).

I’d like to know what’s supposed to be bad about a late-model Instant Pot. We have one that’s at least ten years old, and we just bought a 3 quart one. AFAICT, it’s the same thing only smaller. Buttons seem the same, seals look to be the sa

Not even so much the stupidity, but apparently we’ve normalized unprofessional responses to media questions. Ignore the message, as a DOT representative I would personally be embarrassed to response like such a partisan assclown.

TFA never really addresses the question of, "given that 600-700W is about all that's going to fit on top of a car roof, how many days does it take to recharge a 50kWh battery pack?" Because that would also conveniently answer
