Hey, your presentation more than makes up for that approach. I’ve already sent it to my team to see if it’s something we’d want to try!

WHAT. I will catch up with you after the rabbit-hole. I’ve got massive hopes for things like Bun, but especially Deno’s architecture of message passing, but I’m now humbled by my not knowing that existed in V8.

Have you seen Crul?? I love the JS flow, but I thought crul was an interesting newer tool!! But I agree, you gotta get in there and it’s easier with JS

I transferred from Node.js to elixir for that reason. Uncaught throws, hanging errors - while someone much smarter than I could have done it better, I was doing a lot of async/retry of APIs with high failure rate and the BEAM just made

Jesus Christ, next time start with the fact that you’re not one thoracic tumor . I’m a dude that had GERD but got both ends checked and they found polyps, so I randomly got incredibly lucky. I was 26, and had less of a fight because of hist

Did you ever play with Realm.io? It had a ton of promise, and I loved the idea of “OOP API”, where objects write themselves to the database from your app. My opinion is more nuanced now, but still it’s super cool.

This is like in basketball where they throw it right next to the hoop for someone to make an innuendo slam dunk, right??

My thing is, if this is true, then a fairly large percentage of us will experience a “lock-in” syndrome of complete paralysis for as long as a hour before we die. Death just got a bit longer haha.

That’s my thing. I closed the docs as soon as I opened them because I already couldn’t imagine convincing anyone this was a good idea enough to convince me it was a good idea. If that made any sense

That Hobbit trilogy? GAWD. I tried reading the hobbit and while I loved it, I agree while at the same time saying that culture is rampant. Like how they’ll never stop making Willy Wonkas or Alice in Wonderlands, and each gets increasingly p

I love posts that go beyond what the code does and actually covers why to do it. I feel like I understand the elixir language, but not the elixir approach completely, yet? If that makes sense? Posts like these give me new taproots to spread

Oh heck yes! I love this, as I was thinking of how I’m constantly reaching for the same tools, and how I wish Elixir had codegen like I had in Go. I would also add auth and stream functions to controllers!

I love this! Having been the “Salesforce guy” at a few companies, it’s good to see people working to solve those problems. As a developer, I’m eager to have a solution that limits sales teams constructively. The ability to add, edit, and de
