This is one of the best ideas (and execution) I've seen in a while! Great example of solving a problem w/ technology and turning it into a business.

Starting a business isn't for everybody, but not for the reason you stated. You're making the mistake of believing the VC hype. You don't need and probably shouldn't seek funding until you can articulate a need. So su

Depends a lot on the startup, especially outside the Bay. In other parts of the country, you usually don't get substantial stock grants from corporate employers, and you usually do get market salary or close to it from a startup. The

Why not? No one's stopping you from starting your own venture. What makes you entitled to a larger piece of the pie if you aren't putting in the extra work or shouldering the extra risk of a founder?

The #1 best piece of advice in the article is: > The best way to get things done is to simply sit down and start working on them. So many people worry so much about failure that they don't even bother to start. You can't pos

Are you running free trials? Giving potential customers an adequate period of time to evaluate your product can be a good way to get them past some of those early hang-ups, especially if you're there to hold their hand. Edit: I see in

"Market cap as % of GDP" is a pretty strange way to determine whether the stock market is over/undervalued. The usual yardstick is Price/Earnings ratio. In that regard we are a little above average right now, but certa
