IIRC they are just as loud and annoying as an earthquake alert. This makes earthquake alerts less useful. Amber/Silver/Blue alerts should be more like a regular notification.

It's not the user's job to figure out that it only happens in Florida on Tuesdays. They may not even be able to change all the relevant variables. Apple developers should look at the stack trace that should either be sent automati

I used to think that Australian preferential voting was the best practical method. Though the Ranked Choice Voting debate in the US has taught me that STAR voting and approval voting are both easier to count and avoid some edge cases.

I think you're supposed to press on the .?123 key, keep holding, and then slide your finger to the comma or period. I assume pressing space twice inserts a period, too. Disclaimer: it's been a while since I used an iPhone, this mi

I test drove a used 2019 BMW. It didn't have features that are quite common, such as Android Auto and adaptive cruise control. On the one hand, I would have liked the option to turn those features on. On the other hand, once you factor

I would buy your phone, but I don't really like the iPhone mini industrial design. The square edges make it a bit hard to hold. I also don't mind if it's a bit larger than iPhone mini. Pixel 3/iPhone 13 size is my limit.
