Similar story to others here, Graal was hugely formative in 98-99 era. Learned how to script in part to create interactive levels and became a Game Coordinator for a period. Thank you in part for creating it! Random memory: using infinite g

Learning to code and hack on TI 83+’s definitely has through lines to my career nearly 20 years later. One thing I’m particularly proud of was figuring out how to build an Assembly program workaround for TI’s “testguard” (a tool to force cl

Great read and great work. TI’s move to disallow developing native applications is not good. By definition, these calculators are educational devices, not walled curated platforms. While I admit programming is a secondary function on these

Something I don’t understand. Insurance companies seem to have an incentive (more profit) and collective bargaining power to reduce what they pay. Why don’t we see a downward pressure on healthcare prices, then? The typical narrative I hear

Thank you for giving it a try! This project quickly went from internal tool to launch-ready. We prioritized getting something live ASAP to help teams going suddenly remote. And the simplest path was tying everything to a login. Feedback not

The primary feature is speed. We designed Zappy to work "in flow" and minimize the number of keyboard/mouse interactions. The critical path is: cmd+shift+1 (or whatever shortcut you want) -> drag a box -> press "en

Zapier's color is orange so we picked orange-red as the default for fun. Probably should consider a plain red though too. Thanks for giving it a try!

I agree. The software needs support for this too. I earnestly tried to use the iPad for a few weeks, and the placement of the camera was annoying (off center, angled up, no one looks good at this angle). But the software was the deal breake

Most reporting about intentional cut-offs makes vague claims about PG&E wanting to avoid future culpability. All the reporting I’ve seen is missing a key, interesting fact. A judge’s court order from January requires them to do these in
