I think the large news here is that there haven’t been many rulings. And for the companies like mongo and elastic that have changed their licenses, this likely gives them more teeth

If I understand correctly, yes, this shouldn't be a problem for it to resolve. Check out here for more info > https://kuma.io/docs/0.7.1/documentation/deployments/#multi-...

If CNCF owns the project now, does that mean they decide the roadmap? Or is that still Kong?

I think the URL is different now? The other blog was on Kong's website and was different.

I had asked a similar question before, and I think this ^ is exactly why they built Designer and Insomnia Core (the original) as separate products. Freedom of choice ftw!

I think you're being a bit hard on yourself - moving to spec-first is super hard. Erin McKean from Wordnik helped create OpenAPI spec and she talks a lot about how it's a journey to get there.

I saw a talk with Alexandra from Segment before. When it makes sense to go with monolith it makes sense. When it makes sense to use microservices, it makes sense. Doing anything for no reason whatsoever never makes sense. That is all.

I asked the question elsewhere, but this doesn't mean that there's any loss of test functionality in Insomnia Designer compared to the original, right?

Is the plan to merge them ever or are they going to stay separate? Also, if I use Designer then I prob don't need to use the orgiinal Insomnia, right?

I just asked this on another version of this I saw, but how does this compare to the original Insomnia? Are they two completely different products?

Love this and especially the Kubernetes features. One question - is everything in the original Insomnia in Insomnia Designer too, or are they completely different?

This is really cool - you should write a how-to blog on it when you have time. I think it could really help drive more adoption.

It's ridiculous to me that the assumption would ever be that a company would not exploit data it has. Oh, there's clearly a market for this product, we know its price, and we know all of the competitors' pricing? It could be

This would make a lot of sense for designing things around Web 2.0 - it's as easy to create content as to consume it. For software in general? This is insane. The key reason? Domain knowledge.
