Not much context here with the single slide. How do you know its GSM? I would guess that they are accessing the inflight wifi, getting mac addresses, then xrefing that to known bad guy cellphones wifi mac addresses. I'm thinking there

But for $250 you only get one Nest. Thus, to have an the Nest app control multiple Nests (nestii?) you'd have to shell out $250 for each.

Interesting. Riddle me this: http://flightsphere.com/flight-time/from/atlanta/to/chicago It says United has 6 flights per week from Atlanta to Chicago. They have 6 or 7 per day in reality. How are airpo

As I think of the technology changes (hw & sw) in my recent experience, I struggle to think how my personal banking (yes, business banking & financial services is a nightmare) experience need to be disrupted. Its a real question, n

There is no way a car with only the ability to power the rear wheels can compare to an AWD drivetrain. Even with the ability to pulse/modulate the brakes and keep the car from spinning, it will only prevent sliding off a cliff by takin

It is a great idea - it reduces one of the hardest things in produce sales - the farm to table transportation. A few points: Author shows a picture of a 25-day old bibb lettuce plant under this text (not caption): "The seedlings stay i

This is where tactical regulations need created and applied. The ultralight world operates in loose regulations and has generally worked well with the airspace system - basically keeping them out of controlled airspace, and having them ope

Completely agree. I posted nearly the same reply to the other "you gotta use OSM!" thread a few weeks ago. Completely unusable as a replacement to apple or google maps, for me. Might be OK for looking for roads, like, uh, a street

It is not negativity, it is the real world. The author put up his wares and someone reviewed it and shared his thoughts. Hopefully, maybe, someone will come along and say "hey I checked in a fix for it!".

Back up, but is anyone else's unread email count fluctuating? I have about 160 (constant #... sad.. I know), but with every third or fifth page refresh it is changing - 191, 160, 380.

$3.2b makes me think there has to be some awesome technology that they own or pipeline, as I can't get excited about the thermostat. It is a great idea, and played with one a bit, but it isn't solving any large HVAC issues - the

The i7, one of the lower priced units is around $2k, so if it can do the same thing (appears to be the same resolution) it is a win.

Roughly - Expect someone making $100k in the SFO area (high state and taxes compared to many parts of the country) to pay about 20-25% in a few federal taxes, and 8-10% in state taxes. So the take home pay would be around $65k-$72k, before
