So here's the thing, Larry Wall is not only a programmer, he is a linguist. That's reflected in the myriad of ways that one can write something in Perl, reflected in the common refrain at YAPCs the world over, "TMTOWTDI" (There's More Than

This storm just keeps getting bigger, like turning over a rock that had an ant on it, now has gobs of ants underneath that weren't seen before. If AirBnB cares about its future, they'll patch this up publicly and then get some serious crisi

I am in full agreement. I am not going to use AirBnB unless they do the right thing and stop spinning this. When EJ posts about how AirBnB found her a new apartment, hired a team of investigators and has used precious funding to get her lif

What about regular homeowner's insurance? Surely there can be policies that can cover this kind of thing which a host can obtain on their own. AirBnB doesn't have to muddy their business model with doing insurance, let the insurance people

I certainly feel the same pull. My time on Hacker News has led me to pursue Python vigorously and I have found that there are certain things that Perl is just less verbose with. The thing that I don't like about it is that is so easy for n0
