I'm starting to prefer using code for layout, since it does make some things easier. When I inherit a large project, it's nice to be able to search & easily change stuff in code rather than having to tweak lots of xibs.

Exactly why I never play the lottery. I'd rather strike it rich by working.

Depends on where you live. Certainly not in San Francisco, where I pay $2800/month rent.

This is one case where a GOTO is acceptable - branching to a common exit, if it makes the code more understandable.

At my last job (developing cross-platform mobile games for iOS & Android), we wrote our game engine in C++ with Cocos2d-X, with Lua bindings for every OS feature, such as in-app purchase, HTTP client, all Cocoas2d objects, etc. with all

There's no way I'd live anywhere outside of the bay area. I love being in a city and not having to worry about the policies of a red state government.

I HATE the flat look. I prefer to see gradients, drop shadows, and rounded corners. That's why I can't stand Android & Windows 8.

When I got my Nexus 7 I thought it was the perfect size, but I hated Android since all of the apps look unfinished & rough compared to iOS apps. I immediately wanted something the same size but running iOS instead.
