   Because GUIs have have more then one workflow since their invention. Same reason that there are multiple designs of physical tools, user preference.

   I'm willing to accept that as the original purpose. However it is now used to cover up and patch over poor design, missing features and unwanted sponsored content features.

   50% of the websites listed are click-bait garbage, content free, or rewritten wire stories. Hope they go bankrupt and learn that the internet is not a copy paste and charge money machine.

   Sure when you can't find connectors, power cables, comparable software or accessories. You got your instrument compared to a traceable reference but good luck getting an adjustment or repair performed. This only applies to dumb instrum
