OP here: Thanks a bunch! Your comparison highlights something that always bothers me about taking a real-life photo of a screen: the banding/moire effect resulting from the physical pixels being viewed from an angle. This was actually

OP here: Thank you very much. That was my starting point as well, to quickly generate consistent and good-looking marketing material without involving a human, basically. Thanks for the thoughtful feedback and suggestions.

OP here! Dang it! What OS and version of Firefox are you on, if you don't mind my asking? I hear ya about the scroll, and that's valuable feedback. Are you using an actual mouse or a trackpad?

Yeah, it's a doing-one-thing-and-doing-it-well kind of mentality. It even makes (a little) money.

Shameful tangential plug alert: My sideproject is a dithering-based image-to-pattern converter for plastic fuse beads (you know them, the ones you place on a platter and iron to fuse them together): https://www.beadifier.pro/

I think you are severely underestimating the local effect an individual can have by influencing life, albeit on a smaller scale. Not everything has to be on a world-scale. In my case, I love watching movies and discussing them, but never ap

OP here :) Version 2.0 is the largest ever update to Beadifier. I've completely re-engineered the application, added several exciting new features, and made many improvements to existing ones. Beadifier is used by artists and hobbyists
