To me that's a geo-ip lookup on the online service, which they kinda need to do anyways so seems fine? (if there are further restrictions then it gets messy, but I feel like that's the current state of things anyways? at least for

Cool project. Why is it called the Baochip/Dabao? Is it big Bao? Or take-away (just learnt the second meaning), or something else?

This is what I think. I saw someone else on HN suggested provide an `X-User-Age` header to these sites, and provide parents with a password protected page to set that in the browser/OS. Responsibility should be on the website to not pr

Just for the record, I don't at all think they're similar. I just don't think it's correct to call the moomins entirely whimsical (though they are a bit I guess.) Mostly just trying to contextualise the moomins with some

Hey Mitchell, thanks for ghostty (happy user here for a month or two). Is there anywhere I can look to see the status of the next planned release? I've been waiting for the vim feature to hit stable, and have just been checking to see

Ignoring the calculator side of things (fair enough if they don't wanna implement it) is this just requiring an age value for the user of the operating system? Because if so, that seems a lot more sensible than the online crap where yo

I was excited about dune3d but one of the things I needed to do I had to import an SVG as a path to extrude (or similar) and I couldn't see a way to do it. I managed to do it (painfully) with freecad, so that's what I settled with
