I can give you a really good example of that. The languages created for FarCry Primal are based on Proto-Indo-European [1]. I didn't know that at the time I was playing the game, but the more I played the more I got captivated by those

I difinitely hope it's going in this direction, but this space needs to mature a little bit, and perception needs to change. Currently ICOs are viewed as scams and some of them are still insanely overvalued.

The discussion about Bitcoin Cash is slightly out of place here, but I think there are dozens of coins worse than it. I don't necessarily like Bitcoin Cash and their marketing shenanigans, but I think they represent a different take on

Indeed, EOS relies on a constitution with human interpretable rules [1]. Not sure how that fits into the crypto sphere, where governance should be done be algorithms and code. [1] https://github.com/EOSIO/eos/blob&

It's easy to scale when your transactions are basically only tcp/ip messages between trusted nodes. There has to be a bettwer way...I'm personally in favor of dPoS (delegated proof of stake) networks, that can have high throu

It seems like it allows the nodes to be dragged to rearrange them. But yeah, it definitely needs a better graph.

What I don't really like in a lot of video games is the learning through death mechanic, when you basically need to die in order to learn how to defeat a boss or to advance to the next stage. It's mostly popular in action adventur

What's the problem with posting on Github? I could see several benefits for it: no ads, source control, easy edit from the web page, notifications for your followers...

They're probably not against bitcoin, crytocurrency is a controversial topic these days and they just leverage on that.

Nice game. A killer feature (as with any board game) would be asynchronous play, meaning you could start a bunch of games with different people and finish them at a later date, and be notified when it's your turn. It's being imple

Better keyboard scrolling with this simple mapping: nmap <C-j> 3j3<C-e> nmap <C-k> 3k3<C-y> This maps the <C-j> and <C-k> keys to a scroll action similar to mouse scrolling: the cursors stays in a fixed p

Tron is just an overhyped marketing machine and a massive cash grab. Now they're using the money to buy some real world assets to consolidate their image in the distributed/decentralized world. Their strategy works, what can I say

Another day another trading algoritm. This is somewhat similar to the n+1 problem with standards. If you had n algorithms and come up with another one claiming to outperform the rest, all you have now is n+1 trading algorithms. If there was

Haven’t played Diablo 1, I grew up with Diablo 2 (I’m a bit younger lol), but for me D2 represents the most memorable athmosphere in gaming. Man...that music in Act 1... Years later I bought 2 copies of D2 to replay it. Needed 2 because no

The Wonder mechanic has always been like that in Civ games, and I would prefer it to stay the same. You can rely on scouting to make sure no one else builds it. If you can't scout, you need to evaluate the risk and decide if it's

Not sure what your point is here. Predicting price movements is not an easy task, even for experienced traders. If you bought at 14k and sold at 20k, you would've made money. Nobody really knows the direction the market is going, othe

We'be in a crypto winter since January, basically a huge bear market. This is likely to attract a lot of negativity. I wouldn't worry too much about it, these are solid points.
