Would love to hear more of these traditional high yield funds with less risk that you're speaking of. People don't need gold in particular, but they need a place to store value without friction.

2-3% yield is the minimum needed just to keep up with inflation. Right now anyone can convert their USD to a stable-coin and get a safe yield of 8-12% with automatic lending protocols [0]. Gold is physical material people need to keep safe

Bitcoin is scarce asset and it's more like digital gold and a store of value, rather than a currency. People hold gold to maintain value and don't go to retailers to pay for things in gold. It's the same idea with Bitcoin. Ho

Intrinsic value is completely subjective. I can't make anything physical out of the internet, does that mean the internet is worthless?

December 2017 were crazy times in crypto. John McAfee would promote a "Coin of the day" for like two weeks straight and the price would sky rocket immediately. People had bots to watch for his tweets to programmatically place mark

Majority of NFT's are garbage (Sturgeon's Law) and not worth any price. However the nature of an NFT is that it allows an asset to be wrapped in a smart contract and have ownership and terms of use encoded. There's something

Only you have the keys, otherwise it'd be like saying if you purchased and downloaded a movie, then Microsoft/Apple/Google/Samsung/Canonical have ownership of them as well.

Social media used to be fun 10 years ago. Twitter was a fun place with fun people when I started using it in 2009. Now social media has turned into a platform for misinformation, contrarians, and ‘gotcha’ folks.

I recommend Pinata [0] for IPFS pinning if you do not want to host your own IPFS node. I'm not sure when they'll start charging but it's been free since they launched and I believe Infura [1] also has free pinning. Cloudflare

A successful coup or a failed coup, is still a coup. We can argue semantics but based on what happened it's clear this was a poorly executed attempt to undermine the government and seize political officials.
