The reason it's posted is probably because information on the cause of the outtage could be useful to startups. An opportunity for lessons learned... Obviously this only applies if the outtage is a result of problem with their infrastructu

I hope this doesn't read back negatively but YC is looking a lot like Triple-A ball in major league baseball. A talent farm for players brought up through the draft, you let VCs scout and choose who they want on their team... hah cool.

I don't think this is always true... it seems to me that they have tried to reproduce it first and if they fail then they consider a buy. Google video, orkut, free411, office... etc. They also don't always buy... You probably have to worry
