It would be terrible if this was actually censorship, but its not, its restricting access to an exclusive and commercial forum with a policy you agree to if you use it. No one is preventing people from talking about this, and its not like t

There have been rumors of robinhood simply being buggy for some time before this. Things like orders being processed after being cancelled, orders being processed out of order causing conflicts, orders being executed massively delayed after

Focusing on infinity more has been tested using glasses designed to force this, it was a popular theory for 60 years or so, and many opticians prescribed glasses which forced people to do this as a result. I cant find it atm, but the result

An interesting perspective is what this does to pointers in terms of unsigned representation, effectively making 0 a special case which could be used for null. But in practical terms it would just limit 32 bit systems to 31 bits of adressab

I agree, machine learning can certainly be over transparent models and classic models can certainly be non transparent. I tend to think of machine learning as any method which optimizes not only the model parameters, but also the model stru

The problems you mention are likely an artifact of him using a bad optimzation method, not inherently a limitation in the function approximator. Ironically, its most similar to genetic search, a method most commonly associated with machine

Is the extra copying even performed? It either has to be a small thing, or processed in chunks, or oom might be a problem. So its small, in this case, will the compiler really copy, or might it just optimize the operation away?

Is this guaranteed by the standard? worst seems platform dependent, does that mean it will vary with platform? what about x86 vs amd64? could it ever be more than 128 bytes?

Its truly very nice :) So much horrible preprocessor stuff goes away. Not that preprocessing cant be done right, its just that the standard C/C++ preprocessor language breaks almost every rule of a maintainable code. I love compiler sa

Just because its funny, here is the obligatory reminder that deep convolutional networks are actually implemented as correlation, not convolution. True, its just the lack of mirroring that differs, which is a linear operation and hence, the

The matlab system identification toolbox is nice to get a casual feel for the systems. Note that pid controllers are mostly used due to their computational rather than control performance. They are math equivalent for linear systems, but th

The article basically explains it... Though it fails to mention that the loans are so subsidised that even if you dont need them you should absolutely take them. Most years you'll pay lower interest than you'll gain by having them
