Sitting in the tram this morning hearing an annecdote about someone having a huge fight. Not unusual on a Sunday morning. However this was an online fight in a forum about the merits of eaglecad vs freecad.

Starlink will broadly charge the amount they can charge to maximise revenue, which will be the same as gogo can charge with their offering. Unless Gogo can massively reduce the cost of their satellite options they’re going to struggle.

Discover is pretty much unheard of in Europe, amex has grown a lot in the last 10 or so years, it’s almost as common as visa/Mastercard for acceptance. But my inference from futurama is very few outlets take discover even in the US?

I have a photo of a menu from Munich earlier this year, not a particularly fancy restaurant - just a pizza place with a table on the street. 12.5% service charge at the bottom.
