Maybe if all the apps were coming from the Mac App Store. I think the limits of Sandboxing have slowed that progress significantly. They should have reasonable allowances to bypass the sandbox for apps that really do need the entire machine

Ad-hoc connecting new Macs over Thunderbolt 2 at 20Gbits/sec is very nice! My MacBook Pro and Mac Pro share their 1TB SSD drives between each other via TB2.

Because swipe up is disabled on my lock screen! Airplane mode renders find my iPhone unusable. PS-PCalc was the first notification center app I enabled on iOS 8 and I actually use it.
