I think most of the negative comments are about morality and Zuck’s, Meta’s, Meta’s workers and Meta supporters lack thereof.

These SpaceX scams are rampant on youtube and highly, highly lucrative. It’s crazy and you have to be very vigilant, as whatever is promised lines up with Elon’s MO.

Some will undoubtedly find a new job in a commercial space company. A lot of research will be lost and more importantly will never happen now. Commercial companies are mostly divided in transportation and warfare, not exploration, or have a

Still need people to press buttons though. But I feel too many decisions have to go through a tiny set of people. But I have no insights into the org. I do wish they would do more smaller releases. Like update Notes without a full OS update

It feels like they are spread way too thin, and individual teams are not allowed to improve their app/services/parts on their own. If I had to work on Apple Notes I would have several suggestions, not all worthy of work of-course,

They can, of course, but why would they waste time on it? They are buying a tool, talent, and a heap of paying enterprise customers. This is a steal.

I’ve been able to create an app with Claude that I could not have made myself. I don’t understand most of the framework(react), idioms, code or the statistical methods it uses to create the results I need. My statistician coworkers verified

Windows Vista happened and Microsoft still exists. And many other products from huge companies failed hard. I think these things are quite common for large companies. The fact that it's Apple just makes it more interesting.

This whole process sucks, but I'm not betting against Apple. I believe that the best AI integration happens at the OS level, and Apple has all the components to do it, they need to find a path to execute. No chance I'm going to le

Maybe. I also think men like Bannon want to work towards a society not quite unlike The Handmaids Tale. I recently watched the Grab documentary, and seeing how much of the food production and water resources has been sold off to Saudis and

I do not for a second believe Trump thinks this all up himself. I'm not one for conspiracies, but I'm wondering how large the group using him as a mouthpiece really is.

What are the latest developments on this front? Still ZFS for stability, XFS for performance? Now that we have NAND storage, would we create filesystems differently? Are there ways to make a step-change in overall performance somewhere? Dis

I would really love to hear how development at Apple is going nowadays. Fixing many of the things requires cross-team collaboration and I thought that was a no-go.

Of all the companies battling, I can see Meta win. If they can keep their users on their platforms, they will stay alive. Look how easy it was to sway elections with one social network. Imagine applying AI to a much larger network.
