I wrote a very, very simple Makefile awhile back utilizing the arduino CLI options. https://github.com/mcastorina/laptop-remote/blob/master/Make... Haven't used it since then, so YMMV.

I use Zim Wiki [1]. I like the hierarchical structure plus the ability to link to any other page internally. It does a good job of staying out of your way and has support for check boxes, searching, and various plugins. It also saves to dis

I have one similar to your "newsh" called "new" which does `mkdir "$1" && cd "$1"` I also have another one called "store" which does `mkdir "${@: -1}" && mv $@`. I

I've actually never encountered that issue, but because Zim is a wiki style editor, you could create links to different pages for asides. It's still another page, but at least it can be all grouped together. I have found Zim to be

Perhaps an identifier can be used so the user can quickly verify the email matches the page. It could be something like a sequence of 3 emojis because matching numbers is hard.

There is a vim plugin [1] that automatically renders markdown in your browser with synchronised scrolling. It felt like magic when I first used it. [1] https://github.com/iamcco/markdown-preview.nvim

Code is written and read by humans, therefore it should be clear and concise. Cleverness should be used in constrained situations like performance (fast inverse square root [1] comes to mind), and comments explaining the cleverness is impor

That's awesome! I love the images and synopsis. One thing I have in the works is a seekbar that stays in sync with the server, but it's actually a lot more challenging than it sounds. I like how you include the episode and season

An Android client to control mpv (media player) remotely. It is actually both the server (written in python) and client. I started it because I didn't want to get up to control the movie playing on my laptop, and it has turned into a f

I did a toy project on wheel factorization if anyone is interested. Through it I learned some interesting math and ancient algorithms. It is by no means the cutting edge of factorization, but it was a fun little project. https://

Wow, this looks great, thanks for sharing! You mention this book as targetting pentesters. Do you have any advice on tools or skills to know for a software engineer to transition to a pentesting role? I ask because there are many resources

People's free time is just that. Their free time. It's perfectly OK to do anything you want with that time, and no one has the right to tell you otherwise. With that said, I think it's a lot healthier to have other hobbies ou
