To clarify, Caddy absolutely can deal "web scale" as proven by companies like Fathom, Stripe, and many others. (The Go standard library powers many of Google's, Cloudflare's, and Netflix's infrastructure, and Caddy

What do you mean by "growth" being a problem? (If you're talking about scale, we have companies with tens of thousands of sites behind their Caddy instances.) > anything advanced doesn't work, Can you be more specific

To clarify, the Caddy source code has always been Apache 2.0 licensed, all the way back to 2014-2015.

What's keeping you from using Caddy in production? We designed it for that too :D PS. Have you seen Caddy's on-line config API? https://caddyserver.com/docs/api

Yeah. That was also roughly the conclusion of my masters thesis: https://scholarsarchive.byu.edu/etd/7403/ ("After HTTPS: Indicating Risk Instead of Security") -- we examined the flaws of current browser

That's different than power generation. If the reservoir goes dry, the power plant can't generate energy. That video is about drinking and irrigation water for communities.

I see something about using Caddy in the repo. Nice! That's a great solution for custom domain TLS.

Caddy doesn't require an email address for ZeroSSL (but we still strongly recommend that for troubleshooting sake).

Sure, you can do this with nginx and dynamic DNS if you really want to, but Caddy does it all for you, with automatic HTTPS, and runs natively on Android (or in Termux): https://caddy.community/t/running-caddy-2-on-an

Very cool. Some great ideas here as I build a visualizer for Timeliner [0] (effectively its successor, Timelinize [1]) in my spare time! Did you build the timeline UI yourself? Can it be used as a library? [0]: https://github.com
