If you self-host an LLM you'll learn quickly that even batching, and caching can affect determinism. I've ran mostly self-hosted models with temp 0 and seen these deviations.

Wasn't Thunderbird Pro the avenue for extra project financing? Why does it take so long to launch an email service?

Unfortunately it doesn't offer free hosting for hobbyists. Even for superficial traffic you'll have pay 1 euro a month (plus VAT). Not many DNS management providers (that I'm aware of, please correct me) support CNAME flatten

Giving even a modicum of care of what Evan has to say in 2026 is a good joke. Only thing he's known outside the Elm community (aside from Elm) is how to antagonize your own community.

It's stated as conflict of interest, not some bureaucracy. Things are still vague, due to some legal liability, probably. Sounds to me like for some grants/tenders received by the non-profit were contracted out to Collabora. Which

They weren't always evil, not in my opinion. Back in the day they bought Feedburner, and merged it with their internal equivalent. In that process, my subscriber list was affected. They apologized and even sent out some swag. That was

I've heard and read it from various sources already that output isn't copyrightable, and hinted as such recently in a comment. Now I've went to look up some sources. > Copyright does not extend to purely AI-generated mater

At the start of last year Gemma2 made the fewest mistakes when I was trying out self-hosted LLMs for language translation. And at the time it had a non open source license. Really eager to test this version with all the extra capabilities p

I've tried to run an IPv6 only box on Hetzner 2-3 years ago. Didn't have a problem with the platform, but with RedHat because subscription-manager didn't work over a IPv6-only stack.
