The Orion browser might be an answer https://browser.kagi.com/ I haven't personally tried this browser as I'm on Android but heard of it as I'm a Kagi subscriber.

Not sure who's getting laid off, but for me in the past the Bandcamp Weekly show was the one that gave me opportunities to explore new genres and artists. I think their shows have a positive impact towards the platforms, buyers, and ar

Feel free to name you're game so that I and others can check it out. It's not frowned upon to link to your paid for content if it's relevant to the topic/comment thread discussion.

Had the same experience in the past with systemd-oomd, nowadays it does a better job at killing greedy processes than the entire user slice/scope.

OOMKiller jumps into action pretty late. I'm on Fedora, thus running the systemd-oomd service, but even with this new service the system will lock up for a minute or two before the greedy process is killed. I think with modern browsers

Possibly more universal, but there are also tools like rlwrap [1] that adds readline support to programs that don't have it. From the docs apparently the readline library ships a similar tool ootb nowadays but I haven't tried that
